Master Rich Brugger - Owner / Chief Instructor
Master Rich Brugger has been training in the martial arts since 1993. He was promoted to the rank of Master Instructor by the late Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee in 2005. He was promoted to 5th degree Black Belt in 2019 by John Graden, an 8th Degree Black Belt under Joe Lewis. Rich is also a certified instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto in Filipino Martial Arts and Jeet Kune Do. Additionally, he is a certified affiliate and member of Sensei Erik Paulson's Coach Development Program (CDP) for STX Kickboxing & Combat Submission Wrestling.
He has written articles on family safety, health & fitness and parenting for ParentGuide News and the New Providence - Berkeley Heights PATCH. As a teacher of teachers, Master Brugger's articles on best-practices for instructors and school-owners have been featured regularly in MA SUCCESS, the martial arts industry's largest trade publication. He is also the author of A Parent's Guide To Family Safety - A Common Sense Guide To Keeping Your Family Safe.

Michelle Brugger - Owner / Program Director
Mrs. Brugger has been training in the martial arts since 1996. In addition to being a 3rd degree Black Belt, she is a certified personal fitness trainer and holds additional certifications in sports nutrition, kickboxing and mat pilates. From 2011 to 2021 she was the president of the New Providence Business & Professionals Association. She is also a board member of the Downtown Improvement District.
